Through a scattered timeline of events, Matt's life unfolds on screen from his childhood all the way up to the moment he proposes to the one he loves.

        Until he finds himself center row at his own funeral realizing everything he had just experienced are previous events that are being brought up by his friends and loved ones through various eulogy readings at his funeral.
 
       Through these readings he gets one last chance to see those close to him.
